Product Overview
Introducing WPU-2001, an imported Waterborne polyurethane resin renowned for its remarkable water resistance. This flexible resin forms a highly alkali-resistant film that offers outstanding abrasion resistance. With its smooth and pleasant touch, it delivers excellent resistance to both dry and wet rubbing.

- Exceptional water and solvent resistance
- TABER abrasion resistance of over 1000 cycles and Martindale abrasion resistance of over 20,000 cycles
- Endures jungle testing (70°C, 95% humidity) for more than 168 hours
- Demonstrates excellent water resistance, with minimal changes after boiling in 100°C water for 10 minutes
- Withstands 10% NaOH water solution for over 168 hours
Applications
WPU-2001 is highly recommended for premium water-based varnishes, water-based printing pastes, fabric coatings, and high-performance water-based topcoats for leather. To enhance water resistance and adhesion, it can be combined with 1-3% of pyrrolidone or water-based isocyanate curing agent.
Safety, Packaging, and Storage
Store in a dark, cool, and dry place within a temperature range of 5-35°C.
Ensure the packaging remains intact.
Shelf life is 6 months from the date of production. After 6 months, laboratory tests are recommended to confirm performance.
Handle with care to prevent frost damage.
For optimal results, it is advisable to use the product in one continuous operation after opening the packaging.
Packaging: 50KG plastic drums.
