WPU-2616 Water based Polyurethane Resin for leather finishing
Product Overview
WPU-2616 is an aliphatic polyether polyurethane, which is soft in film forming, has excellent yellowing resistance, excellent flexibility, and excellent water resistance. This product is free of ethoxy Alkylphenol, formaldehyde and formaldehyde emissions.

- Medium soft film formation, with a stretching rate of around 1100%
- Excellent water resistance and flexibility
- The paint film is resistant to immersion in 10% sodium hydroxide solution for more than 48 hours
- Film forming high gloss and high strength, with a tensile strength of up to 15MPA
- Good compatibility of resin with other anionic PU and PA
Applications
Recommended for use in fields such as ink modulation, water-based gloss, high-end leather finishing, and surface coating. Paired with 1-3% aziridine or water-based isocyanate curing agent can improve strength and adhesion.
Safety, Packaging, and Storage
1. Indoor storage, stored in original unopened and undamaged containers at a temperature of 5-35℃, stored under dry conditions, avoiding direct sunlight.
2. Under the above storage conditions, the shelf life is 6 months from the production date. After exceeding the time limit, it is recommended to conduct a performance evaluation before use. This product needs to be strictly protected to avoid frost. After opening the packaging, it is recommended to use it all at once.
